Welcome to our tomato growth pictorial

Flower/pollination

Flower petals still hanging on the bottom

More possible starts here in addition to the two already growing

A little further along (yes it rained last night)

These two look like they are going to make it

These were the first two that showed up
This year we bought two plants instead of growing from seeds. The last photo is from a different plant from the other images. The header at the top of the page is actually of a “volunteer” plant that just showed up in the backyard. It seems to be doing well and will soon earn the right to have its own tomato cage.
Looks as if they’re doing well.

No worries about the time, we do actually have real lives away from here, though my son would argue that.

Thank you! There is something magical and/or mystical about life giving water clinging to plants!

There’s nothing better than home grown tomatoes. I’ll have to figure out when to plant here.

Looking good. I have 24 plants this year. a couple of plants did not make it. They are growing furiously right now and fruiting about a week ahead of sched. All I have to do is keep pouring the water to them. Have a good weekend. Allan

They are looking great! I love picking them, slicing and devouring them. Fresh stuff from the garden tastes better by 100% than bought in store.
