That Rexall drug store has been there for decades.

Years ago there was a pizza place in the same block. It was called “Damm Good Pizza”.

We had a Chinese resturant named A. Wong Chinese Food. On US 31 a restaurant sign claimed “Eat here and get gas.” You can’t get any weirder than that.

No. It was near the town of Tipton. They tore down the restaurant when they put the overpass in on what will be a freeway. It was there for years.

The construction of the highways took lots of things. I knew several farmers in Tipton County.

They are buying up all the property. I also know that new round about they placed at 28 is making it hard on people with large vehicles to navigate. If you aren’t careful, you end up in the Chrysler plant.

Ha..those roundabouts can be very hard to figure out when they first open, and you can easily get stuck going in a direction you didn’t want. Have they started construction on the new highway? ( I am not aware of the project.)

they have been working on it for years. Its a big deal. They plan to make a freeway from South Bend to Indianapolis. Construction season is starting. i figure it will make it hard to travel soon.

They have been working on it for the last five years. They are doing it in stages, Thus, the round about. They have made some over passes and routed the road around Kokomo and several smaller towns. They will be doing a lot of work this summer. Avoid 32 if possible. I wish they would finish it already.
