Off on another adventure, we headed first to Greenfield, Indiana, east of Indianapolis. We were headed towards a new to us restaurant, Zapp Thai Restaurant. They offered many lunch specials, each including an entrée, soup and small salad.

We were very pleased with our meals. They were both filling and very tasty. This restaurant will definitely be one to which we return.
Roadtirement 
Did you get Thai hot? I used to order “hot” at local Thai restaurants. The waiter would say “Thai hot hotter than Mexican hot!” I would tell him to sock it to me.

I went with mild. Interesting to note that on the menu it stated meal was “not returnable” if ordered HOT. Cute what the waiter told you!

Very tasty, the different sauces are interesting. Ask for a sauce sample taste. You can order various degrees of ‘hot’ as well. Try some sometime, sure you’ll enjoy the experience.

Thai food was new to me about ten years ago. What a delight it was to explore that cuisine! We had several restaurants close to home on Long Island, but the nearest Thai place in NC is about 45 minutes away.

The dishes look good indeed! I love Thai food, and we had a favourite Thai restaurant in Copenhagen. Now we are living in the sticks, and I have to prepare it myself … 😉

As long as you can cook it from your kitchen, that is great. We’re not set up to prepare that type of dish. It is interesting that Thai food is popular all over the world, it seems.

Not returnable food? Never heard that before. My favorite is and has always been a sign at a Tattoo parlor. “Tattoos while you wait.”

I always rate a Thai restaurant by their Pad Thai or Pad See Ew….Thai cuisine is one of my favorites!
