Here’s another pic from the archives because, well, you know why…

Usually squirrels have bushier tails than this guy. He is still pretty cute, however.
All of the posts we made before July 2022.

Another “not traveling so here’s another old picture” thanks to COVID-19

We actually took the picture of this cute little chipmunk a few years ago when we were visiting our daughter and her family in Seattle. He was running around on a street where nuts had fallen and traffic had broken the shells making for a great smorgasbord.
Sher and I are not traveling now due to coronavirus, so we thought we’d share some of our BC pictures with you. (BC = before COVID-19)

We had just entered Yellowstone National Park from the East Entrance. As we saw Lake Yellowstone on the left we suddenly saw stopped traffic ahead. I thought maybe there was a crash. But no. Here came this magnificent bull bison just sauntering along, taking his time as if he owned the road. Wait! He did own the road. Quite a start to our Yellowstone adventure.

One of my favorite places on Earth is the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. This photo was taken in the Western Mountain District a few minutes before sunset. The stunning landscape is dotted with the magnificent saguaro cacti.

Pelicans are one of my favorite birds. I captured this one resting on a pier at Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Wishing all of our blogging friends a Blessed and Happy Easter!
Have you ever blown the little white flyers off a dandelion?

This dandelion is in full seed mode with 150 – 200 seeds. Sometimes this stage is called a puff ball. Soon a breeze will take the seeds on a remarkable journey.

Awhile back Sher and I were traveling in Virginia and found our way to Chitoteague Island. There we saw this fine family out for a stroll. We thought this photo might bring a smile or two.
We and millions of others around the world are intimately aware of the terms shelter in place, isolation, quarantine, stay at home and social distancing. Trump and Pence and his experts are starting to hint about “re-opening” the country.

Our 2019 Highway 40 Yard Sale set-up
All of the Flea Markets and Shows we usually go to are closed due to COVID-19 mandates. One of our best is the annual Highway 40 Yard Sale which follows US 40 across the country. It is held in May.
Even if things are “open” in May, will it be safe for us to be out mixing at all with the public, no matter the conditions? Right now we are thinking we best not get out until there is a proven treatment for this killer virus.
What information/news is going to be enough for you to get back to “normal” activities? Will we ever see BC normal again? (BC = before COVID-19)
