Central Indiana is fortunate to be directly on the route of the long awaited total solar eclipse. Small town Shelbyville is pulling out all the stops in preparation for this exciting event.

Statewide excitement about the eclipse
Shelbyville is directly in the perfect viewing path of the eclipse. Hopefully the skies will be clear on April 8th. If not, you will have to wait until 2044 for the next eclipse viewing!
Exciting stuff! I was watching on the news last night all the companies making and shipping out the special eclipse glasses. Wow!

Buffalo/Niagara Falls is in the path of totality as well. They’re expecting as many as a million tourists this weekend/into Monday for the event. I don’t plan to go anywhere, because the traffic is supposed to be horrendous. I got my solar glasses a few weeks ago & plan to watch it from my back yard. So glad you’ll be able to see it, too!
