Tin roofing? Yes, of course. However you don’t often see tin siding on a barn. This old structure needs a little TLC, at least a paint job! You can see at the peak of the roof the overhang indicating that originally there was a pulley and rail for loading loose hay into the barn. This old barn has been around for a long time.

Thanks, Tim. From the other side you can see that the cellar in fact is full under the barn. The hay pulley is still hanging from the beam outside the newer looking tin at the peak.. I’d bet the track is still mounted as well. This is the kind of barn I love to poke around. It is on my list for a return expedition after procuring permission…
