This one was really hard

Cinque Terre, Italy

This is the second puzzle we put together. This 1000 piece puzzle was a lot harder than the first thousand piece one we assembled a few weeks ago. It was really a challenge, and did provide a fun task to perform while still needing to stay safe from the virus.

We are hoping that we’ll be able to get the first of two COVID-19 vaccines within the next few weeks. Hopefully the distribution and start of the dispensing of the vaccines will be a signal of the beginning of the end of this damned pandemic.

Continue your vigilance and stay safe! Happy New Year!

  1. Amen to that, my friends. The world has had enough. Tried calling my doctor about this, will try tomorrow. The puzzle is pretty, and far too much for me to try. 😂

    • Well our son also helped us with the puzzle. Took several days of sporadically working on it. And I just got an email from our hospital that they are opening a vaccine clinic Friday. Appointment only, first round health care workers, first responders and those 70 and older. (I turn 70 next month, Sher is over 65.) Encouraging that we may get vaccines within a month 1/2 or so. Hope you can get in on the vaccine soon.

  2. We love puzzles! There’s one in our cupboard (still wrapped in its plastic sleeve) that we always said we will build on a rainy day … but now it seems it will have to be build on a “lockdown day” 😊. Well done on that 1000 piece one!

  3. Ah, Qingue Terre!!! This was one of our most exciting trips to Italy and I will never forget. One can do these 5 towns in 1 days but we decided to do it the slow way and it was a good decision. As side effect we were able to enjoy the different cuisine there. Can’t wait till this Covid-19 thing is over and we can travel to Bella Italia again.

    • We have enjoyed learning about this wonderful location since we got the puzzle. It’s been fun hearing first hand accounts like yours in addition to research. Thanks for sharing, and hope like you we all can soon return to some semblance of normalcy.
