First rose blooms this year

Our rose bush out front is putting on some blooms.

Hopefully we’ll get a lot of pretty roses this year. It seems like the rose bushes are getting ready to really pop!

    • I have never planted Vinca Periwinkle. I know it is a fast growing ground cover that is evergreen. Works great on steeper slopes, and traditionally has pretty blue flowers in the spring. Morning Glory is a vine with pretty flowers that bloom continuously through the summer. It is a tenacious grower, works great on fence rows, arches, and pergolas. It is considered a noxious weed to farmers, as it chokes out corn and beans. Be careful planting Morning Glory near your vegetable or herb gardens. It will take over! Hope this helps… 🙂
