We’re expecting sub-zero wind-chill and 8+ inches of snow over the next 36 hours

Signs of hot summertime
As always, February seems like such a dragging winter month with the cold and snow and ice and other icky weather stuff.ย But, spring always does come, and it appears that the vaccinations are beginning to roll out more and more. There is some glimmer of hope that the country is making some progress on beating this pandemic. Guess it’s better to be optimistic.

It’s supposed to get down to 7ยบF tonight, but since we are often 10 degrees below what is forecast on our property, we may slip below zero. It’s 25ยบF now. Beautiful Monarch and sign of warmer weather to come.

All butterflies are pretty, but the Monarch deserves its name, IMO. Thanks, Tim.

It’s tough to be positive at times, but I believe that this too shall pass. I’ll be waiting for my time for the vaccine for a while yet but always looking for when it will be available.

Agreed. We are so done with February, its wind and its cold. Fingers crossed March is nicer. Hope all is well with you. Allan

Oh dear, I feel for you in that chilly weather … we’ve just came back from a long weekend away of camping next to a river and … wait for it … temperatures of nearly 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit) … ๐๐

Now that is a contrast to our temperatures!
