There must have been a rash of duck invasions from feedings, that or there was a plague of bird droppings due to concentration of fowl. Something has prompted this new Ordinance and associated brand new signage. Anyway, the Ordinance has not yet been added to the city’s law clearinghouse yet, so no details are available. We recently were fortunate to get some saplings from the DNR. We got three Tulip saplings and two Black Cherry saplings. The Tulips are doing very well as you can see from the photos. The Tulip tree is the State Tree of Indiana.

The writing tool is in the mushroom picture for scale. We got the Black Cherry tree at a local DNR giveaway. It is in a tomato cage to protect it as it starts to grow. We also got a couple of Tulip trees as well.
