We saw a small group of llamas over the weekend. Some ignored us, however the large black male did not lower his head while we were stopped watching these animals.

Llamas are interesting animals. We have Llama and Alpaca farms in Corrales. One is about a half mile north of us.

Llamas and alpacas are critters I know nothing about. I know lots of folks raise them.

They have nice wool. I they will spit on you if they don’t like you. I know that much about them.

Hmm…nice wool and spitting. Think I might stay with old brood cows. They split two for one each calving season… LOL

They are pretty animals, but don’t get too close to that mouth!

I know nothing about them. (Notice there were TWO fences between us and the critters?) Give me a good old brood cow any day.

Yes, so it seems. And I do not appreciate nor understand the desire to have this type of livestock

Nor do I. Give me the traditional hogs and cows. They seem more natural to the Indiana landscape.
