The climate in South Texas is tagged as “sub-tropical”. We have enjoyed our stay in Harlingen at the Park Place RV resort. If we have a complaint, it is how many days are very very windy. Sustained winds at 30 MPH+ with gusts to 45 have been far too common.
Don’t get me wrong, the breezy 70’s still beat the calm single digits back in Indiana!

It’s the same way here in Las Vegas. Plenty of very windy days, more so in winter. I call them Wind Storms. 50+ mph gusts are common.

The worst thing is if you have allergies! It’s always windy in Mission TX so all the pollen is constantly flying all over the place. I hate it! Thinking of moving back to my hometown of Chicago where all the trees are dead most of the year lol
