It’s been really hot and dry for the past week, high’s in the upper 80’s and low 90’s with pollen alerts and air quality warnings. Welcome to Indiana in June. Sher and I decided that a nice leisurely Sunday lunch date was in order for today. We enjoyed our last trip to the Blue Agave so off we went for a second visit.

We started with margaritas, chips and salsa!

The Burrito Boom is huge

Beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, onions, beans and rice! Whew!

Veggie Chimichanga filled with grilled onions, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and served soft or deep-fried. Topped with cheese sauce and red sauce. Includes rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole
Blue Agave Mexican Grill and Bar is on the north side of Shelbyville, Indiana. Good food, great drinks, lots of TV screens and great service make this a good place to grab a meal.
Looks like a great meal. The temps have been nice out here in the 70s and low 80s down into the 40s at night.

I just noticed you shaved your beard. Looking good! My eyes are getting worse. I see the eye doc at the end of the month.

I do appreciate the compliment, Tim. I sure understand the vision comment too. Same here…

I usually notice changes like that right away. In the past when I’ve shaved off my beard, my boss looked at me and said, “You look different. Did you grow a mustache?”

I have completely thrown my Primary care and my oncologist. They both at the last appointments did the pause, look and then the “What’s different about you?” question. Funny how people react to changes in one’s appearance.

Blue Agave is very good, especially the Burrito Boom. Try Maya’s at your next Mexican venture. It is very tasty as well, and they have a salsa bar!! Delicious!!
