Yesterday we decided to watch some funny clips on YouTube. One of those was the classic Abbott and Costello bit “Who’s on First?” Considered by many to be the funniest eight minutes in comedy history.

If you have never seen this skit, then by all means check it out. If you’ve seen it before, refresh your memory. You will laugh out loud.
Still funny, no matter how many times I watch it. π

A real classic. I crack up every time I hear it. I find nothing like it in today’s comedy, but I play the old timers like theses 2 and the Marx Brothers and WC Fields

I literally end up with belly cramps I laugh so hard! And we agree that today’s “comedy” stretches the definition badly. Thanks, Don.

So many old comics are brilliant. I love old movies and standup by Buster Keaton, Abbot & Costello, Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, Mel Blanc, George Burns, Cid Ceaser, Harold, Loyd, etc.

A classic for sure! I still laugh but it is too close to reality when working in academia!

Hysterically funny and I, too, used to listen to an audio cassette a long time ago. And neither one of them had to drop an “F-Bomb” to get the laughs.
