O.J. Simpson’s family announced on social media Thursday morning that he has died at the age of 76. “On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer, He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.” This quote is from a post on X.
Simpson’s fame as an NFL star was overshadowed during his murder trail for the double-murder of his ex-wife and her friend in the 1990s. He was acquitted of the murder charges.
This has generated a lot of conversation across the internet, some good, some bad.

Since his football days at USC ’til now he’s been a public figure. Love him or have him…

I will not stand in judgement of him…

He was one exciting running back. One of the best the Bills ever had. It’s too bad he went downhill the way he did. He’s still beloved (with regrets, of course) here in Buffalo.

He skill on the field will always be remembered, even with his later “issues”

He did slide downhill, in a big way. However, you can’t take away from his talent shown on the field.

Rip OJ Simpson one of the greatest football players ever and I truly believe Not Guilty and no problem saying it. I will debate anyone and if you get a chance type in Judge Joe Brown he puts it into full perspective on YouTube. Must watch and here
