Indy Craft Beer pass

In 2002, USA Today readers voted Indy as the #3 beer city in the U.S. We joined Visit Indy and from there we found https://www.visitindy.com/deals/craft-pass/

We visited 5 breweries and got 500 points which qualified us for a free t-shirt!

The breweries we visited are:

Big Lug Brewing Co
Bier Brewery
Sun King
Big Woods Franklin
Bier Brewery North

The next prize we’d like is the Ceramic Beer Stein. We need 2000 points to get the stein, will take awhile but that’s a goal we have.

Lil’ Charlie’s Restaurant and Brewery

Lil’ Charlie’s Restaurant and Brewery is located in downtown Batesville, Indiana. We stopped for lunch and found the food delicious. We tried a flight of beer and it was very good. Hard to pick a favorite, but Maj liked the Oktoberfest Marzan Man best. We’ll be going there again next time we’re in the area.

Good food

We love eating out. Mexican restaurants are one of our favorites. Last week we were in Greenwood, Indiana and found a Mexican restaurant we hadn’t been to called On The Border. It was a good decision to stop, as we enjoyed chimichangas, veggie quesadillas, chips with salsa.
