Of course you realize that he does not have the glass by his mouth! I know he can use his trunk to move the glass to his mouth, guess he is looking at the olive! He is a looker! I like his glasses. The owners of the liquor have a sense of humor. Thanks for posting.
🤣🤣 I’m thinking he’ll put the glass down and fill his trunk and drink like he does beer. He holds the glass as pictured so he can toast something/someone. Or not. 🍸🍺🍷🍾🐘
It’s so cool you got to go! CBS Sunday Morning did a story about them a few years ago but I haven’t been yet. I have to admit though- I much prefer coming around a bend and just finding something rather than going to one one town to find it all. That said, Casey is on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing!! 🙂
It is worth a stop if you are ever in the area. It is the only place we’ve seen two interstate attractions sign lists filled for the same exit. Safe travels!
Awesome!

I’m not sure I would want a giant elephant, maybe a giant possum, it would seem more fitting.

Probably would be more fitting but possums have such ugly tails!

Well yes, they aren’t the most cuddly of critters, but they do serve the good purpose of insect control.

Have to agree with you about possum benefits.

I wonder if, when someone parks their car at this lot, do they think they’re already tipsy even before they enter the liquor store?

Probably a good bet! 😂🍸

Years ago, I lived in a town in Michigan that had a pink elephant statue in front; I don’t think it was quite as large as this one, however!

So cool! I found a similar one at a winery! https://makethejourneyfun.wordpress.com/2021/05/06/ella-the-pink-elephant-2/

Love that Ella! Thanks for the share, and I am already picturing the offspring of our 2 pink elephants. What a cute little pink baby that would be.

Hahaha! They would have a beautiful baby. These unusual roadside attractions are what we roadies live for!

We found what is perhaps the Mecca of roadside attractions in Casey, Illinois. They have the world’s largest everything. We posted about it here: https://roadtirement.com/2021/02/27/worlds-largest-everything/
