It will take a lot to get to the last straw!
The wheat was harvested from the very large field in the background. The straw was then baled and stacked as you see it. There were three of these large “walls” of straw. As you can see, these bales require a tractor with forks to move: you don’t manhandle these bales!

Good morning, guys. In all my years in Michigan, I’ve never seen it stacked like this, wow! Absolutely no way you’ll manhandle these bails!!

I would like to see the baler that produces bales of this size. They did not have them when I was in farming decades ago!

You and me both! I mostly have experience operating large tractors pulling brush hogs for cutting the trails and fields where I used to work. And a few other machines, I miss those days in Michigan! We called them Bush Hogs though.

I would like to see the baler that made those large bales. I used to have a round baler that would put out a 1000 pound bale of hay.

Do they bale the straw from the wheat at your daughter’s place? Does she raise any crops?

She doesn’t, she backs onto the fields. I have watched the machine baling them up.

I have not seen the baler or the equipment they use to move these. I was driving by and saw the bales. 😀
